Join the Long Lake Moonlighter’s Club and support local snowmobile trail development.

The Moonlighter’s Snowmobile club is NOT responsible for the maintenance of the Long Lake Town Trail System. For information on trails or to report trail conditions call 518.624.3077.

The Long Lake Snowmobile Trail system is over 70 miles of groomed trails and in 2013 there is now a rideable loop connecting Long Lake to Raquette Lake, Newcomb and Indian Lake. The trail system in Long Lake does not require extra fees, but if you register with the Moonlighter’s the fees go into the New York State Snowmobile Fund. This fund helps offset the cost of trail maintenance and grooming. The Town of Long Lake grooms and maintains all the trails. The Moonligthers is an organization to foster local economic growth during the winter months. Look for the Moonlighter’s Winter Carnival the Saturday of Martin Luther King Weekend, the Poker Run connecting Newcomb to Raquette Lake the 2nd weekend of February and events throughout the season.
