Summer in Long Lake is the stuff memories are made of. The shores of Long Lake have always hosted summer camps for youth and it continues to carry on the tradition. Long Lake boasts three Boy Scout Camps, a Creative Arts Camp, and an Adventure Camp.

Send your children to Long Lake and you can be rest assured they receive the highest quality experience whether its performing in a theatrical showcase to climbing the high peaks. The Adirondack Experience is worth exploring. Pack up the kids, we're going to camp!

- Long Lake Camp For the Arts:
  
  Long Lake Camp For the Arts is the perfect place to pursue your
  creative dreams and build life-long friendships. An oasis for
  performing arts and fine arts since 1969, you can create, have fun, and
  develop the highest art – the art of living.
  
  Programs include:
  Theater: Exciting classes, Daily improv, 5 musicals and 4 plays each session. Over 30 productions each summer! You can perform every Friday night in drama.
  
  Fine Arts: Unlimited studio time with talented artists-in residence like no other! Painting, Drawing, Jewelry-Silver Smithing, Clothing Design, Weaving, Ceramics/Sculpture, Creative Writing, Batik, Photography, Animation, Graphics, and
  more. Evening studio programs too for even more time to create.
  
  Music: All the right notes and beats tailor made for you! Private lessons, ensembles with new friends, Voice, Jazz Bands, Orchestras, and Digital music. Perform every Sunday night at our chamber concerts.
  
  Rock Music: Bands jam daily. Complete professional recording studio. Join over 15 bands performing every Saturday night live on stage!
  
  Dance: Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Ballet. The perfect steps for you. Small class size helps you excel. Perform each week.
  
  Circus: “The greatest camper show on earth” A three ring spectacular- learn to fly on our Trapeze!
  
  Film: Professional film-makers guide and support you every step of the way. Great actors and scenery help inspire you. Premier your films each week.

Making Long Lake Adventure Camp feel like home is a priority and gives campers a sense of security enabling them to thrive and grow.

- Long Lake Music Camp:
  
  Join Campers From All Over The World who Love Music..
  Our music program focuses on individuals and small ensembles as well as Jazz bands, Rock Bands, Orchestra’s and Chorus. Campers can play the style of music that they wish to share with us. We have Orchestras-Jazz
  Bands and Rock Bands that meet daily and perform regularly. Casual student or serious musician, no need to transpose, the right key for you is at Long Lake Camp. Recently added is our computer composition studio, you compose arrange and deliver your own creations. We have a new electronic drum set which opens up vast performing possibilities. This year we are
  adding Steel Drums! Once you are ready record your creativity in our state of the art recording studio. At Long Lake musicians can take a casual interest or seriously study technique and theory by working daily with accomplished musicians.

- Cedarlands Boy Scout Camp:
  
  Cedarlands’ 5,000 acres of mountains, lakes and wilderness make it the largest Scout camp in he Adirondacks. Hike Cedarlands’ three mountains — OA, Walker and Masters — on the Skyline Trail. Explore the islands on Lake McRorie and Scout Pond. Hike or paddle to Long Lake, or enjoy the Cedarlands Rock Climbing and Rappelling program. The Cedarlands base camp has the facilities of a modern patrol-cooking Scout camp, while the backcountry is true wilderness. You can enjoy a new scout program, a wide variety of merit badge offerings and also include an outpost trip of hiking and/or canoeing all with out leaving camp.

- Patriots Path Sabattis Scout Reservation:
  
  Sabattis Adventure Camp is owned and operated by the Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America. We have been a Boy Scout Camp since 1959. Sabattis Adventure Camp is a Nationally Accredited B.S.A. Camp. Troops may arrive to Sabattis by their own transportation or utilize Councils’ Coach Bus (from Northern NJ) service which picks up at points around the Northern New Jersey area.

- Hiawatha Seaway Council Sabattis Scout Reservation:
  
  One of our camps is Sabattis Scout Reservation. Named after Mitchell Sabattis, it is located on over 2,000 acres in the heart of the Adirondack Park. It offers the premier wilderness camping experience in the northeast United States. Sabattis is a traditional full featured patrol cooking camp with immediate access to 1,000,000+ acres of state land for hiking and canoeing. For this year we will offer 2 weeks of dining hall style food options for a limited number of campers. An aerial view of the camp near the bottom of the camp history shows the camp area. Sabattis is also the home of the Hiawatha Seaway Family Camp.
