The 11th Annual Fire Department Chicken Barbeque at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion benefiting the Long Lake Volunteer Fire Department returns on Saturday, August 24th. Food service and to go meals starts at 4 p.m. until they run out. All proceeds benefit the Long Lake Fire Department. The Mt. Sabattis Pavilion is located at 6 Pavilion Way at the intersection of Deerland Road and South Hill Road in Long Lake, NY. Entertainment for the BBQ will feature the country sounds of The Beadle Brothers, no additional charge.
The Beadle Brothers hail from central New York, they are a Syracuse favorite and Indie World Country Charts Stars. The Beadle Brothers will be performing from 6p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion stage. For over four years The BeadleBrothers have been the house band for Turning Stone’s “Tin Rooster” playing shows at least three times a month. The Beadle Brothers perform a variety of original songs and popular country covers showcasing an upbeat, interactive, and energetic fusion of country and rock. These five musicians have opened for major national touring acts including: Trent Willmont, Brian White, Marc Willis, Brantley Gilbert, Lone Star, and Jarrod Niemonn. The Beadle Brothers were nominated for the 2015 New Music Awards Country Group/Duo of the Year along with Florida Georgia Line, Thompson Square and The Band Perry.

Guests are invited to sit at picnic tables under the cover of the pavilion, and may also bring picnic blankets and chairs to set up. There is free parking available. This event happens rain or shine and there is no admission charge for the concert.
The Beadle Brothers concert is sponsored by the Town of Long Lake Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. There is no cover for the event, but the Fire Department will accept donations in addition to selling their delicious BBQ. Come for the food, stay for the night!
