7.     On New Years Eve the Long Lake Diner has all you an “all you can eat buffet” with discounted pricing for seniors!  Includes Choice Prime rib and Jim’s seafood bisque… a “secret” recipe his wife, Paula, doesn’t even have the privilege to know.

9.     Glen LaBlanc, the ADK DJ will be spinning the tunes at the Roaring 20’s celebration at the Long View Lodge.  Everyone welcome to come dance!  No Cover!


 
10.     Max Nason, DJ of MX Productions will be spinning the tunes at the Adirondack Hotel until 1 a.m.  No Cover!

 

11.     The Long View Lodge is hosting a Roaring 20’s themed party, with a buffet dinner from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Book dinner and a room and you get a New Years Eve DEAL! Limited rooms available!  Book soon!


12.     The Long Lake Little Bus is free door to door transportation from your home or lodging out to our local pubs/restaurants.  Leave the car at home! 518-524-3106

13.     The Geiger Ice Skating Arena is open until 10pm with free ice skating, sledding, bonfire and s’mores!  Drop the kids off and go have dinner or better yet, skate and sled with them!  For conditions 518-624-3031

(We recommend waiting until daylight)

2019 Lunch with Santa

Lunch with Santa was held on December 14, 2019 at the Long Lake Town Hall.  Santa took a break from overseeing his workshop at the North Pole to make a special stop in Long Lake to check on the children.  Santa announced all the kids have been good this year and no one was on the naughty list!

 

Holiday Lights Contest

 
The Town of Long Lake Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Annual Holiday Decorating Contest for both Long Lake and Raquette Lake. 
 
In Long Lake judging will be on Tuesday December 17th, 2019 after sunset, and the contest is open to both businesses and residents.  There will be cash prizes for residential homes only. To sign up call 518-624-3077 by Monday December 16th.  Winners will be announced at the Senior’s Holiday Luncheon on Thursday December 19th.
 
The Raquette Lake Holiday Lights Contest judging will take place on Thursday December 19th after dark, and cash prizes will be awarded for best display. Participants are asked to have their displays fully lit up during the judging. 
 
Residents of both communities will be eligible for prizes of $100, $75 and $50. Businesses receive plaques for their prize-winning displays.
 
The contest is free to enter.  Call up to sign up to guarantee your display is included.  518-624-3077.
