Community Pride Day ’22
Our 22nd Annual Community Pride Day is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
On this day, many towns will be working together to clean up the streets and begin thinking about a prosperous summer. The area schools also participate by taking their students outdoors to help. All volunteers, students and teachers who show up on this day will receive a free t-shirt and a free lunch. If you wish to help clean, you can sign up in advance (this helps guarantee a shirt for you) or show up on the day of. Each town will have their own instructions about where to pick up your shirts, where to find supplies (trash bags, gloves, water, etc.), what to do with the trash after you pick it up, and where to gather for lunch.
All sponsors of at least $30 and anyone who contributes towards lunch for your town will have a one line listing (name only OR website only) on the back of the shirts. Anyone contributing $100 or providing more than 50% of the lunch for their town gets their logo on the shirts. If you want to be on the shirts, you must send your contribution, or make your lunch commitment before March 25th. The money collected for this event ensures every volunteer, student and teacher will receive a shirt. Being a sponsor does not guarantee a shirt. Shirts are for volunteers.
