Winter Wonderland Week Schedule of Events Announced for Long Lake and Raquette Lake
There is plenty to do in the Long Lake and Raquette Lake region from February 17th – 26th. Winter Wonderland Week offers a slate of events for all ages offering both outdoor and indoor activities. The tradition to schedule multi-events coincides with the President’s Day Weekend and February weeklong school break. Long Lake Parks and Recreation has planned a slate of events from a magic show, movie night, cooking class, to outdoor events including Winter Survivor, where kids will participate in a part Scavenger Hunt meets unique Survival Challenges to round out the week of fun. The Long Lake Geiger Arena will be open daily from 1pm – 10pm all week long, no matter the conditions, so stop on by to see what is happening for the day.
In 2023 Long Lake will also be having Restaurant Week during Winter Wonderland Week. Guests dine out at each of the participating dining establishments including the ADK Trading Post, Adirondack Hotel, Long Lake Diner, Long View Lodge and the Raquette Lake Tap Room. Some participating restaurants will offer special menu items for the week. There are free dining cards at all locations, get your card stamped and submit for a prize at the end of the week. Guests can receive $5 off a Hand-Made Pasta Making Class on Tuesday, Feburary 21 to be held at the Long View Lodge with Chef Ben Paula, starting at 5pm. Pre-registration is required.
