The Adirondack Local Culture Program official opening day is Sunday, December 1st, 2024 at the Mt. Sabattis Recreation Area. Look for regular Sunday Community Programming through April 2025. Sunday Community Days will offer Tiny Time from 12pm – 2pm with special programming for youth 6 and under.

Rink Attendant and Educator Rebecca Stoner LaFountain, with the support of the Parks and Recreation Department and the Long Lake Town Board, will be engaging youth with games, creative endeavors and outdoor recreation through a variety of programming and mentorship.

In December as the weather changes and plunges into winter (we hope!) Rebecca will be offering a place for the youth of the community to work on community service projects, engage with mentors and work in a realm of mediums suited to the interests and feedback from participating youth and volunteers.
