Thursday, July 13th featuring Bruce Matthews performing his “front porch music.” That’s how Matthews describes his modern folk rock music and story-filled journey often winding up on the front porch, sharing and singing and doing life together. Bruce is actually a Raquette Lake neighbor — he summers at the very north end in a boat-access only camp, while living and performing the rest of the year in Michigan. Matthews has released three CD’s. While his story is uniquely his own, his music invites you to find the connection with your own experience.
Public transportation from the town dock to St. William’s thanks to Raquette Lake Camps for supplying the barge, and to Mike Bartow, who will be our captain. Be at the dock by 5:45, as it is first come, first serve. The boat will leave at 6:00. The concerts will start at 6:30 and last for about an hour. Remember we will have more pies to raffle! Rain location will be at Raquette Lake School. We are excited to welcome this line up of artists to share their gifts with us.
