ALCP Family/ Community Day
SUNDAY December 15th, 2024
Sponsored by the Long Lake Beautification Committee, the Long Lake Lions Club & the Long Lake Diner!
Open to the Public, Join us for some winter fun while we ‘Deck the Rec’!
Schedule: 12noon-7pm
12-2pm ‘ALCP Tiny Time’ weekly group playtime for youth ages under 6 and their parent/guardian
2:30pm ‘ALCP Taste of Long Lake’
Try a taste of foods and treats provided by the Long Lake Diner!
2:30-4:30pm Make decorations and Visit with Santa & Mrs Clause inside the decorated warming hut, with treats and treasures for children from the Long Lake Beautification Comm & the Long Lake Lions Club.
4:30pm Lighting of the outdoor Christmas Tree by the skating rink
5-7pm ‘ALCP Under the Stars’:
Bonfire, Sledding, Boot Hockey, SnowMaze, Crafts & Games!
***Through the Adirondack Local Culture Program (ALCP), the Town of Long Lake with support from the @OJPOJJDP and @National Recreation and Park Association is working to build quality out-of-school time youth mentoring and community programs at Mt Sabattis Recreation Area.
