Harvest Craft Fair in Long Lake October 8

There is still time to get your leaf peeping in for 2016. Make Long Lake, NY your stop on your tour of the Adirondacks. Destination, the Long Lake Annual Harvest Craft Fair on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Long Lake Town Hall located at 1204 Main Street Long Lake, NY from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vendors will be selling their handmade crafts featuring: soaps, hiking sticks, keychains, etched tree fungus, wooden bowls, rolling pins and cheese boards. Herbal spice mixes, homemade chip and dip bowls, bread and soup mixes, soy candles, with Adirondack and home scents, rustic furniture, frames and décor, wooden decoys. Balsam cloth and wood filled crafts, children’s books and related board games, polished stone jewelry, books, rustic signage and woodcrafts, body butter, lip balms, bath salt, face and body scrub, hand sewn home décor, and knitted items.


Vendors return year after year and it’s a great kick off to holiday shopping, adding rustic Adirondack touches your home decor. The small show packs a big punch with a variety of quality vendors, there is something for everyone. Vendors: Moose River Candle Company, Fauna on Flora, Chipman Woodworks, Santa’s Attic and Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, Rustic Creations, St. Lawrence River Decoys, Bunny’s Craftique Cottage, Thornapple Creek Books, Jenter Designs, Nancy Did It, Birch Pond Designs, Stream Valley Essentials, Adirondack Inspirations, Beagle Boy Beads and the Long Lake Ladies Auxiliary


Kids activities will be available including a bounce house, pumpkin painting and games outside of the Town Hall.

There will be a raffle to benefit the Long Lake Ladies Auxiliary.

Admission is free.

The Wild Center – Born to Be Wild. Open 10a.m. to 5 p.m. Meet the newest animal members of the Wild Center Family. The Wild Center welcomes new residents, including a porcupine, otter and turtles! There will be a few opportunities during the day to meet them and then make some baby animal crafts.
