Paddle-Making Class

Ever wanted to learn how to make your very own paddle? How about your dad? Well, this is your lucky day! Create your own cherry canoe or kayak paddle under the guidance of expert paddle-maker, Caleb Davis, of Tremolo Paddles. Class takes place Chez Caleb at 33 Owl’s Head Lane. $100, all materials included. Quite a unique Father’s Day gift, if I do say so myself. Call Caleb to sign-up, 624-2572.

20th Annual Spring Blossom Fiddle Jam

12-4pm, Town Hall

The epic floods may have postponed the event back in May, but nothing will stop us now (except maybe tornados…)! Bring your fiddle and jam with the best or simple stop in to watch, dance or sing! Food served up by the Long Lake Lion’s Club all day. $7 adults, $4 11-16 year olds, free for kids 10 and under.

Weekend forecast: possibly some rain on Saturday, but dry skies (and some sun) on Sunday with 74 degree highs all around!

Weekend Bug Cast: They come, they go, but the evil little black flies seem to be dissipating. Always depends on the weather. But don’t be afraid… want to come up, but haven’t booked a room yet? Check out our Hot Deals Page!
