The Emeralds of July is a five piece pop group from upstate NY, made up of three cousins, all girls, who were born within two weeks of each other in May of ’96. The other two members are a younger sister/cousin on keyboards and the only boy member on lead guitar, also born in the summer of ’96. The group was formed when the 4 girls began singing together for fun into their dad’s (uncle John’s) PA in the basement. Before long their natural ability and desire to perform shone thru and they began to put those music lessons to good use, figuring out songs and layering harmonies. Emeralds of July hit the stage at 2pm. Don’t miss this up and coming Capital Region band!
