Photo Contest Winners Announced
The Town of Long Lake Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department announces the winners of the 2020 Long Lake Photo Contest held between August 24th and September 30th. The contest was open to any style of photograph including landscapes, wildlife, and candids. Pictures were required to be taken at specific locations in Long Lake and Raquette Lake. Over 170 photographs were submitted, and after much deliberation three winners were selected for each town. The first place photos will be put on display for the year. The finalists are as follows:
First place in Long Lake went to Anthony Miller for his wildlife photo of spider webs on a log in the Cedarlands Easement Area. Runners up for Long Lake were Dominick Chiuchiolo for his photo of Fishing Brook Access, and Shane Holmes for his photo from the top of Mud Pond Mountain in the Cedarlands Easement.
