Utica Zoomobile

12pm Mt Sabattis Pavilion. The Utica Zoomobile and all its furry and slithering friends make a stop in Raquette Lake at the Raquette Lake Library at noon for educational programs and the chance to pet exotic reptiles and animals! Great free family event.

St Williams on Long Point Concert Series

6:30pm St Williams on Long Point Concert Series Shady Rill: Tom and Patti. Adirondack& Irish folk music. ON the water at St William’s Long Point – in your boat


August 5th

Durant Days Boat Tour

8am WW Durant. The Durant Days and Boat Parade weekend kicks off, sponsored by the Town of Long Lake and the CAA.  This is a weekend of activities celebrating William West Durant the inventor of the Great Camps Style Architecture, which was born in Raquette Lake

Outdoor Yoga in Raquette Lake

10:30am Raquette Lake Library. Proceeds go to the RLVFD Building Fund.

Wide Variety

2pm Raquette Lake Village Green. Wide Variety performs their own unique brand of acapella songs delivering over a quarter century of harmony, fun, and friendship. Courtesy of St. Williams on Long Point and the Central Adirondacks Association.

Durant Days Boat Parade and Fireworks

6pm. The Boat Parade in Raquette Lake at 6pm.  Registration forms available at Burke’s or Birds Marina.  This year the theme is… there is no theme!  Anything goes!  We are looking for Party Barges, Runabouts, No-Octane. if it floats and it’s a boat, decorate it.  Get out on the water and show the classic spirit and tradition of Raquette Lake living.  Cash Prizes.

Durant Days Sagamore Tours

Half price tours available during Durant Days. Tour Great Camp Sagamore, created in 1897 by famed Great Camps designer W. W. Durant and summer home to the Vanderbilt Family for half a century.

Annual Vespers Service

Annual Vespers Service with The Reverend Nancy Rosenblum.  Service will be followed by complimentary refreshments.  Free transport from Village Dock at 2:00 p.m.  Transportation provided by Burke’s Marina.  An offering will be collected for building repairs.  Musicians interested in playing for the service please contact at st.hubertsisle@gmail.com www.sthubertsisle.com

6:30pm St Williams on Long Point Concert Series Max and Ruth. With influences of folk, bluegrass and country, they play acoustic Americana that is all their own. INSIDE the Church.

Raquette Lake’s Busiest Day

10am. Raquette Lake’s Busiest Day will be held at locations throughout Raquette Lake.  Come to Raquette Lake for a fun and busy day! Juried Craft fair at 10am at the Raquette Lake Union Free School.  Vendors galore.  Jewelry, pottery, photography, pen & ink drawings, wrought iron Adirondack products, polar fleece, stained glass, handwoven clothing, and accessories, rustic Adirondack furniture, jams & jellies, fudge, & more.  Raffles to benefit North Country Lifeflight.  Rain or Shine. 

Annual Book Sale starting at 10am at the library. 

At 5pm it’s the biggest event of the season.  The Annual Raquette Lake Fire Department and Ambulance Squad Auction at 5pm under the big tent. For more information, call 518-624-3077.

Raquette Lake Blood Drive

12-5pm. Raquette Lake School. Save three lives by donating blood Tuesday August 30th, from 12:00-5:00pm at the Raquette Lake School. Call Liz to sign up 315-369-5053 or redcrossblood.org.  Walk-ins are welcome.

September 5

Raquette Lake Fire Department 75th Anniversary Celebration

8am-11am – Music by Ryan Leddick from 8am – 11am with free coffee and donuts.

11:30am Raquette Lake Parade

1pm Mitch Frasier taking the stage immediately after that. During the Mitch Frasier set there will be free hamburgers and hotdogs available, as well as the RLVFD selling their famous steamship round and turkey sandwiches. 


There will be a bounce and games for kids to participate in.


5:30pm the Boat Raffle drawing will be held to benefit the Raquette Lake Fire Department New Building Fund. Drawing on Labor Day, 2022. $5 per ticket. See a member for tickets. Must by 18 years or older. Winners are responsible for taxes. Donated by Burke’s Marina Inc. Boat is Qwest 18′ RLS Triple Tube, Suzuki 115hp 4 stroke outboard and Genesis trailer.


6pm- 9pm Live Music with Michele Howland and Tyler Peter performing on the Village Green from 6 p.m. -9 p.m.
