ADKS Enters Phase 3 of Re-opening

Long Lake Welcome Sign

The North Country Region of New York State entered Phase Three of reopening on Friday, June 12, 2020. The community is  excited for local restaurants to be opening for dine-in service in addition to continued take out offerings. We welcome everyone back to the table! Our businesses have worked diligently to prepare safety plans, and space out their tables inside and provide outdoor dining and take out windows.

Restaurants must limit indoor capacity to no more than 50% of maximum occupancy, not counting employees. Outdoor capacity must be limited to the number of tables that can be safely and appropriately arranged, such that tables are a minimum of 6 feet away from each other.

They have rearranged and recalibrated throughout these last few months and we waited patiently for re-opening plans and guidelines. Our scenery and views remain the same and our community spirit remains level best. Join us. Please wear your masks and distance yourself six feet apart when possible and be ready for some changes. It’s always an evolution and work in progress. Long Lake has been in the hospitality business since the 1850s, we will figure this all out.

Both The Cellar and Long Lake Diner offering indoor seating, continued take-out as of Friday June 12.

The historic Adirondack Hotel resumes indoor dining and reservations for hotel rooms starting on Monday, June 15th.

The Adirondack Growl & Grub will be open with take-out growlers and food on weekends only, with no indoor seating.

The Park in Long Lake currently offers outdoor seating.

The ADK Trading Post has outdoor picnic table seating.

The Raquette Lake Tap Room

The Tap Room is still doing take-out only for the time-being. We’re small and have a hard time meeting the social distancing requirements and other mandates set forth in phase 3 . However, you can get your food and drinks to-go, and enjoy them at one of the picnic tables across the way in the field.

The hotel is now open, with a safety cushion of 2 days vacancy and thorough sanitation between room rentals. As always, we’re very grateful for our customers support and looking forward to seeing everyone! 315-354-4581
