Classic Van Morrison tunes to expect include Brown Eyed Girl, Moondance, Domino, It Stoned Me, Tupelo Honey, Wild Night, Into The Mystic, Caravan and so much more. The show is packed with one Van Morrison classic after the next.
The reviews are in.
“An incredible recreation of the Irish legend.” – LA Times
“If Van Morrison isn’t coming to your town, Moondance is the next best thing!” – Dallas News
“A very impressive and realistic portrayal of Van Morrison…a must see.” – Hawaii Reporter
The band members hail from Massachusetts and can regularly be seen performing venues in and around the Springfield, MA region. Musicians include: Ed Moran on Lead Vocals, Dan Broad playing bass and vocals, Dana Welts on guitar, Vinnie Brandi on drums, Aaron Dean on Sax and Joe Torra on Keyboards
Morrison, portrayed by Ed Moran in the show, will be backed by a five-piece band, including drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and sax. Moran is a big fan of Van Morrison and strives to capture his unique vocal inflections and to nail down his physical motions to best capture the essence of Van Morrison on stage.
Van Morrison has been making records since the mid-1960’s starting with the band, Them. He started his solo career in 1967 and can boast a rock n roll legacy over 50 years old. Van Morrison doesn’t tour in the United States too much anymore, so if Van Morrison isn’t coming to town, this stage show captures an authentic musical experience as close to a live Van Morrison show could be.
